Theatre trips in Kent

A warm welcome

A Warm Welcome to Teresa Butler’s Theatre Club of Kent. If you enjoy the theatre, but find it too much trouble to book tickets and arrange transport etc my theatre club may be just the “ticket” for you. I do all the work – you just pick your choice of show, turn up on the day and ENJOY.

I will be there to sort out everything as we go along so you really do not have to do a thing.

Theatregoing has never been cheap and I buy top price tickets [unless stated otherwise] for my clients. But as I pass on the group rate reductions to my clients they get excellent value for money.

Transport included

I run two separate branches of the club with coach pick up points covering most of East Kent so there should be a boarding point near you. All you have to do is turn up!

Pickup Routes:

We have two different routes for each branch, with a number of different pick-up points along the way.

 THE DREAMERS

by James Beeny and Gina Georgio

St James Theatre, Palace Street 2.30pm

‘Soldiers are dreamers; when the guns begin they think of firelit homes, clean beds and wives’ Siegfried Sassoon

I always like to support local talent and visit new venues, so I was thrilled when James Beeny rang me recently to tell me all about The Dreamers. James and Gina, who are from Tunbridge Wells, have written a contemporary and inspiring musical based on the true and moving story of little-known WWI hero David 'Reggie' Salomons, who was also from Kent. It is particularly poignant that The Dreamers will be making its London debut not only during the centenary of the First World War, but also on the 100-year anniversary of the HMS Hythe disaster of 1915, on which the show is based.

A brilliant day out! Superbly organised and much more personal than coach companies!
